Welcome to the website of Dave Griffiths. Here you can find out about his music with the Chaos Curb Collaboration, BOSH, The Trouser Band and his solo projects. You can also explore his world through Twitter, Facebook, Soundcloud, Reverbnation and You Tube. Dave has been involved in music since he was very young, forming BOSH with his brother Mike when he was 12 and Mike was 9. BOSH has been their primary musical project until 2010 when Dave began developing Chaos Curb. Dave has been full-time in music since 2008 and plays on average three gigs a week across the UK and sometimes further afield. 2011 sees Dave take the plunge and become a fully-fledged solo artist, with two recording projects in production. “Over the last few years I have written an album’s worth of songs that have been inspired by people and places - often encounters and experiences I have had on my travels with my music. These will form the basis of my first solo album, which I am planning to record in the next year. I also have a lot of songs written and co-written with a much more obvious spiritual focus. These I have been recording for and with the Chaos Curb Collaboration - a collective of friends of mine who are trying to paint new sonic pictures of a deeply spiritual nature.” This is not to say that BOSH are a write-off. 2011 also saw the release of the Fruit Tree album and subsequent tour. This project has brought together six unique artists to raise funds and awareness for two charities close to Dave’s heart; The Trussell Trust and I*EAT (which Dave’s wife Jess started and directs). BOSH have led the album forward with five new songs. See more at their website (follow the link below). |
